Madison Rojas, Editor-in-Chief
Madison Rojas is a senior at Mayfield Senior School and currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of The Mayfield Crier. Madison has received multiple awards for her articles and creative writing pieces from the National Scholastic Writing Awards. She was 1 of 49 finalists out of over 4,000 submissions for The New York Times review writing competition, receiving an Honorable Mention for her review of a Harry Styles concert. Madison is a dedicated member of Mayfield’s Creative Writing Conservatory through which she has explored writing poetry, short stories, and screenplays. Additionally, Madison enjoys writing and directing her own shorts films. Madison is also an involved student, participating in the Student Diversity Council, co-leading the Cubs for Social Justice Club, and swimming for the Varsity Swim Team. In the future, Madison plans to inspire young writers to share their voice by telling diverse stories in literature and film. She is looking forward to a wonderful final year writing for the Mayfield Crier!
