The Mayfield Crier

Grace Fontes
Grace is currently a senior at Mayfield Senior School and is the Editor-In-Chief of Editorials. She has been a member of the Mayfield Crier Staff since 2018 and has written articles on numerous topics. Grace loves writing and is also a member of Mayfield’s Creative Writing Conservatory and has been Copies Editor for the Mayfield Crossroads yearbook for the past two years. Throughout her time at Mayfield, she has won awards for her writing, including third place in the Cabrini Literary Guild Essay Contest, and has received both Silver Keys and Honorable Mentions in the Scholastic Art and Writing Contest. In her free time, Grace serves as a princess on the Miss La Canada Royal Court and loves to volunteer at her local kitten rescue. Grace intends to pursue writing in her future, by majoring in the fields of creative writing or journalism.
