On February 28, 2026, the Mayfield Women’s Ensemble once again delivered a stunning performance at the University of Southern California’s invitational choir concert. They performed their famous song Flight by Craig Carnelia (which received the loudest applause), as well as Cantate Domino, Loveliest of Trees, and Three Madrigals. This was their second performance at USC, and the more intimate setting allowed the adjudicators to give the ensemble even more focused and undivided attention. One praised the wonderfully warm and mature sound of the choir, as well as their expressive musicality. Another noted how beautifully balanced the ensemble was, and commended the singers for performing such challenging literature with poise and artistry. The girls are now eagerly preparing for their upcoming choral competition on April 17th at Disneyland. Great job ladies!
