As lent commences, some students in Mayfield’s Campus Ministry Council went together to Los Angeles Youth Day the day right after Ash Wednesday. With the theme “Carrying the Cross”, the group was met by lots of speakers who explained how we can carry our cross during lent. Some ways that students participated were through mass and liturgy, singing, listening to people speak in a panel, and through an adoration at the end of the day. After youth day, the participating students celebrated the end of the day by hanging out at Downtown Disney and enjoying dinner together.
