Featuring 17 numbers and 33 dancers, Mayfield’s Dance Conservatory, in collaboration with the Technical Theatre conservatory, put on a show that invited a full house for all four of its performances in January. The show, titled “Jet Set” was a celebration of global cultures, taking the audience on a flight “around the world” of dance, featuring styles from hip hop and ballet to Hula, classical Indian, traditional Chinese, and odes to Pasadena, Los Angeles, London, Las Vegas, and New York City. The show, led by Mayfield’s Dance teacher, Ms. Lazaris, left the crowd buzzing with excitement, as it offered an energetic love letter to the world around us on an unforgettable journey that honored the universality of music and movement.

Dancer Selina Ye said “Jetset was a gift. seeing the love, friendship, dedication, and passion brought to life on stage, telling a worldwide story to an audience who are so engaged and moved, has been one of the most meaningful moments as a cub. the experiences Mayfield has given me to thrive and be the best version of myself is something I will forever cherish.”
