Mayfield’s Creative Writing Conservatory recently began its Winter trimester, filled with meaningful discussions, fun-filled literary activities, and plenty of stories! Leading up to December, Creative Writing students focused on preparing and finishing their pieces for contest submissions. The students sent memoirs and personal stories to the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, while also drafting their tiny 100-word memoirs for the New York Times contest. After a stressful week of finalizing stories, poems, and essays, the creative writing cubs celebrated by watching a movie! Congratulations to students in the creative writing conservatory for submitting their work!
