Mayfield’s winter dance concert: Live in Living Color launched on January 30th, and runs until February 2nd. It is dance teacher Bretlyn Lazaris’ debut show as a new addition to the Mayfield staff. Additionally, it is seniors Sol Johnson and Kaitlyn Baghdassarian’s last show as part of dance conservatory. It’s safe to say that they blew the audience away with their immersive facial expressions, raw talent, and precision. The underclassmen also impressed the audience with their energy, excitement, and commitment to learning complicated choreography. With detailed costumes, retro music, and illuminating stage lights, this show is unlike anything we’ve seen thus far at Mayfield. The Crier staff is so proud of the amazing dancers, stage hands, and Mrs. Lazaris!
