The Cubs had an exciting game against the Tologs in the annual Dig Pink Volleyball game! Frosh/Soph, and JV put up a good fight, but in the end lost to the Tologs. However, varsity’s game was a turning point for the Cubs who took the first set with ease. The Tologs won the second set. And despite the last set being close, in the end the Cubs beat the Tologs which marked Mayfield winning Dig Pink for the 5th consecutive year! Though it was a fun time with cheers, and friendly competition, Dig pink is so much more as it supports breast cancer awareness and brings two all girls schools together in a very special way!
