With the new school year kicking off, the cubs were filled with excitement to try Mayfield’s brand new lunch option: Lemonade. That’s right! Lemonade has replaced Children’s Menu, the former lunch caterer for Tuesdays and Thursdays. Lemonade, a California-based restaurant, focuses on the incorporation of vibrant vegetables and other nutritious ingredients into their meals, making it a nourishing and sustainable source of lunch. Let’s take a look at some student opinions.
“The sandwiches are good,” Bennett Paulson ‘29 noted, “I just wish we could order a drink with it, I really want some lemonade.”
Several cubs suggested that they would appreciate the option to order a cup of lemonade with their meal. Including a cup of lemonade alongside a nutritious meal would make for a refreshing addition, especially considering the current summer weather.

Kaylin Driller ‘27 delightedly welcomed this addition to Mayfield:
“When I first heard about Lemonade coming to Mayfield I was really excited.”
She was happy to give a review on her lunch, declaring that “It’s really good,” and “you get a lot for what you pay for.”
Overall, Lemonade has received positive feedback from cubs all around. Whether it’s the lunchbox, the most popular menu item, or the poke bowls, dishes filled with diverse flavors, it is safe to say that Mayfield students are very pleased with Lemonade.
