On May 18th, 2025, the Instrumental Conservatory performed their final concert, honoring four seniors and Ms. Hablewitz. This concert’s theme was “Game Night,” showcasing music from popular video games such as Minecraft, Angry Birds, and even Animal Crossing. A variety of performances took place with different instruments such as the piano, guitar, ukulele, violin, keyboard, and bass. This performance was particularly meaningful as it was the final performance of Mayfield’s Instrumental Conservatory itself. Ms. Hablewitz, who has been a cornerstone of the Music program, will be leaving Mayfield after 13 years of dedicated teaching and mentorship. Though her departure marks the end of a significant chapter, her impact on the students, faculty, and musical community will continue to resonate for years to come. This concert also highlighted the conservatory’s graduating seniors, Eliana Andrea, Amy Tanaka, Jade Telles, and Loise Wardhana. These talented individuals were honored for their hard work and commitment to the Conservatory, marking the culmination of their musical journeys at Mayfield Senior School.
