On April 11th, the Mayfield Senior Women’s Ensemble traveled to different schools around Orange County, and heard the beautiful exchange of songs from Foothill High School, St John the Baptist School, and Mater Dei high school. This experience was a great opportunity to learn from other students and what their vocal program looks like at their school. The endless applauses, expressions of awe and admiration, and continuous compliments were very assuring to the girls and their hard working director, Mr.Alvarez. Bringing joy to others by singing stunning pieces was worth it when the big smiles and shocked faces in the audience were apparent on everyone’s faces. The girls are looking forward to more trips like this to bring our Los Angeles community through the appreciation and enjoyment of singing.
