On February 3rd, Mayfield’s varsity soccer team had their annual senior night against Chadwick. After playing a tough game, Mayfield came out with a tie 1-1 qualifying the cubs for playoffs! The sidelines were filled with family and friends cheering on the girls with signs! After the game, the soccer team celebrated our 4 seniors Tessa Neal, Julia Salazar, Erin Erickson, and Sissy Page with flowers and sweet messages. The varsity team will have one final team dinner on February 11th to celebrate and honor their seniors once more. The cubs have worked so hard this season, we wish our seniors the best of luck!

MacKenzie Thomas is a Sophomore at Mayfield Senior School, and is starting her first year writing for the Mayfield Crier. She would love to write about Mayfield athletic, as she is currently a 2nd member of the volleyball, soccer and track and field teams. Outside of sports, Kenzie sews clothing in her free time.
