Seventy Thousand people are sitting in a stadium all anticipating the moment that their icon, and role model comes out on stage. “Taylor Taylor Taylor,” they all chant excited to finally fulfill their dreams of seeing the one and only Taylor Swift live at the Eras Tour.
She starts off with her notorious album lover. Immediately following “Lover ,” it was back to her childhood with “Fearless,” next, she sings one of her covid albums, “Evermore,” following “Evermore,” she sings her infamous revenge album “Reputation”, then she goes back to her roots with her country album speak now, after speak now, she sings “RED”, following “RED” she sings her other covid album “Folklore,” after folklore she sings her album that brought her into the pop genre “1989” and finally she finishes out the night by singing her newest album “Midnights”.
This concert is three hours of pure entertainment, excitement, and anticipation. Not only was the concert amazing, but the people were too. With the flawlessness of Taylor Swift herself, and all of the special effects such as when she dives under the stage for a costume change and it looks like she went swimming, it was hard to tell if it was reality. Every second of the concert, there was something new and exciting to look at whether it was the effects, costumes, or light up bands, there was so much going on in the best way possible. The one issue I have about this concert is ticket availability, and prices. Tickets to the eras tour were very expensive, and difficult to access, and almost every single ticket was bought from ticketmaster by third party sites.
Even if you are not into Taylor Swift, after this concert you will change your mind, and if you do not change your mind, then you will always walk away with something because after this show I was in pure awe, marveling at the greatness that is The Eras Tour. Personally I enjoyed the community of it all. This experience brought so many people together and we all had one thing in common, us, or a loved one, enjoyed listening to Taylor Swift. Lastly, I enjoyed the energy of the concert. This was definitely the most energetic concert that I have ever been to. Seventy thousand people all screaming the same words to each and every song is such an energizing, and enjoyable experience. This in particular stood out to me because it was something completely new to me. I have been to many other concerts, but never one as exciting and emotional as this one. So many people resonate so deeply with Taylor Swift’s songs so the energy was certainly bound to be unmatched.
