Karissa is a senior at Mayfield. She’s the head of the Females in Finance club, ASB Treasurer, and a regular student designer for the Mayfield Admissions and Communications department. This year, she’s started a weekly column, “Financially Yours, Karissa,” to increase financial literacy awareness within the Mayfield community and to publicize Females in Finance events. She’s interested in pursuing business or marketing in the future. If she’s not grinding on AP Literature assignments, find her reading (favorites include Ted Chiang, Ayn Rand, and Joan Didion), playing guitar, painting with watercolors, or taking long walks at sunset.
