Mayfield Virtual Fine Arts Festival

Mayfield Senior

Clare Hawkinson ’22 reads her award winning Creative Writing poem.

Although Mayfield’s artistic cubs are unable to showcase their year long hard work in person, quarantine can’t stop them from sharing their outstanding talent. The many arts Conservatories are ending the school year with an artistic bang, digitally. Mayfield’s Fine Arts Department is presenting a Virtual Arts Festival that features work from all Conservatories.

Don’t miss pieces from the Creative Writing, Vocal, and Technical Theatre Conservatories as well as the Visual Arts Conservatory’s “Primavera”, Instrumental Music Conservatory’s “Music in May”, and a collaborative project between the Dance and Theatre Conservatories. The Mayfield community will also be excited to find the long-anticipated 2019-2020 Crossroads Yearbook in its first virtual release.

The Virtual Arts Festival will be available through a live webpage link and a Virtual Arts Reception will be hosted on Friday, May 15 from 2:30-3:30 through Google Meets. Even though we will not be on campus to appreciate the accomplishments of Mayfield’s artists, we can come together as a virtual community to celebrate their artistic talents.
