St. Francis hosted Mayfield to a mixer/social before the Saint Francis Vs. John Muir game. Mayfield Cubs who streamed onto the Knights’ campus from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. enjoyed treats and fun activities. It was a great turn out with many St. Francis and Mayfield students in attendance. Mayfield’s world language teachers were stationed at the Handel’s cart, with Ms. Bussard handing out the ice cream. At the entrance there was a huge lemonade truck providing various selections of iced drinks. Every drink came with gummy worms floating on the top creating a fun picturesque lemonade. The DJ’s provided the event with great energy, teaching the students line dances including the wobble and playing a great mix of music. Overall, the evening was filled with cute digital photos, dancing, and concluded as a memorable night. Mayfield and St. Francis students look forward to more events to come.
