On April 25th, 2025, the Freshman class of 2028 made their way to St.Joseph Salesian Youth Center and were seated for prayer as soon as they arrived. After this, introductions were made, followed by witness talks. Small groups were led by 2 retreat leaders and the girls had discussions based on the witness talks and went inside two more times to have more follow up discussions. Throughout all of this, the girls created a closer bond with each other and were able to be vulnerable while opening up about their experiences with God and how He has helped them navigate through life’s obstacles. After sharing an exciting meal of pizza and cookies, the girls entered the church for a beautiful mass to reflect, sing, and pray. This retreat wouldn’t have been possible without the retreat leaders, Ms. Gonzales, and all the teachers who supported the students. The Freshman Class is excited to see what their Sophomore year has in store!
