On March 1st, the Women’s Ensemble showcased their talent at the University of Southern California’s annual choral invitational festival. Their performance featured a captivating selection of three classic pieces: “Flight” by Craig Carnelia, “Ah Si Mon Moine” by Allan Mills, and “Weep No More” by David N. Childs. The ensemble’s rendition of these beautiful works left a lasting impression on the audience. Beyond their own performance, the members also had the enriching opportunity to witness eight other outstanding choirs, a highlight being the renowned USC Chamber Singers, providing inspiration and further broadening their musical horizons. The success of their performance was further enriched by the beautiful accompaniment of pianist Catherine Forbush and talented violinist Eliana Andrea’25 and Amy Cui’27. The ensemble is deeply grateful for the guidance and inspiration for their exceptional conductor Mr.Alvarez. Throughout the festival, the women’s ensemble demonstrated a great commitment to excellence and a collaborative spirit.
