The 2025 Red and White Day started off with a White team advantage of 50 points that they had earned throughout the year. Continuing their streak, White won the first game which required Cubs to race on scooters and decipher riddles. Despite this, the Red team bounced back and won the second and third games: ‘Chicken Run’ and ‘Balloon Stomp’. 

While the rain limited the four rotation games to the gym, it didn’t limit the spirit of the Cubs as they continued to fight hard. By the end of these games, the Red team had come back to a 250 point lead over the White team. This only meant one thing: the 300 point Tug-of-War would be the deciding factor of this year’s Red and White Day. The entire school held their breath as they watched the strongest Cubs struggle in a gridlock. Eventually, the White team had pulled the Red team’s bandana over the centerline, marking the end of the game. Congratulations to the White team for winning the 2025 Red and White Day and dethroning the Red team’s three-year streak!
