During Mayfield’s spirit week, 500 Bellefontaine was filled with festive activities, excitement, and school pride. On Thursday, February 13, Mayfield held its annual dance competition. Each grade choreographed and performed a dance in front of the whole school, to be judged by a faculty panel. Decked out in their class colors, every grade danced to upbeat music with smiles on their faces. In second place, the freshmen impressed everyone with their synchronicity and energy. That being said, nobody compared to the class of 2025, who took first place. This marks their well deserved, third win in a row. The class dance competition is very important to the senior class. Every year they practice diligently and strive to be the best. This year, they went above and beyond and bought matching t-shirts for all of their classmates. The seniors’ dance was energetic, complicated, and synchronized; earning cheers and applause throughout the whole performance. We are so proud of all of the dances this year, go Cubs!
