As December is around the corner, and we all get into the Christmas spirit, I thought it would be a great idea to create a detailed Christmas wishlist/ideas that anyone can use. To start things off, I’ll be highlighting a few fashion essentials that would make perfect additions to your list. This article will focus on the basics of fashion, including jackets, tops, and pants, but I will soon have a follow-up where I’ll cover accessories, makeup, jewelry, purses, and more.
Jackets:
If you’re on the hunt for some new jackets this winter, I’d definitely recommend checking out Stussy, Aritzia, lioness, and second street. Jackets are an essential part of your outfit, and a great way to elevate a plain boring look. Some of my personal favorites include the North Face Puffer Jacket – perfect for a cold or snowy day. A denim jacket is also a great staple that’s super versatile. If you want a more fitted look, I adore the Lioness Rider Jacket whereas if you want a bigger baggy jacket, I love one from Stussy. For a more colorful and fun jacket, I LOVE Lioness’ Workwear Jacket, the Lioness Vista Bomber Jacket, or even a fun fur jacket like the Urban Outfitters Faux Fur Trim Jacket. I also love a simple leather jacket, specifically the Lioness Bella Moto Jacket for a shorter, more fitted style, and the Lioness Kenny Bomber Jacket for something with more room.
Tops:
Starting at the bottom, basic tees are a must-have for building unique styles. That may sound contradictory, but trust me, having solid basics in your closet is key to creating fun outfits that make you stand out in a crowd. My ultimate favorite basics are from Skims, I love their long sleeve’s, they are super soft, fitted, sculpting, and incredibly comfortable. If you are not into long sleeves, the short sleeves as well as their tanks are great options. The best part about skims is they are comfortable basic tops, with a large variety of colors to choose from, you’re not just stuck with black and white, so you can really mix things up. To spice up your top collection, I’d suggest picking patterns you are drawn to and go from there. One of my favorite patterns is cheetah, here are some options I have accumulated for you: a cheetah: Skims x Dolce & Gabbana long sleeve, Princess Polly tie long sleeve and the Bella Venice Corset. I also love With Jéan, they have a large variety of options for fun and unique tops to spice up your closet. Some favorites of mine are: for a simple yet fun button down, the Lyla Shirt. For a red graphic, Straight Seven’s Tank, or the Superstar Seven’s Tee. If you want some graphic short sleeves, the absolute BEST place to look is Réalisation Par. I love the Real Love Tee, Exotica Erotica Tee, Bunny Tee, and, finally, your zodiac sign tee.
Pants:
One of my absolute favorite items of clothing has to be pants. There is such a wide variety of pants to choose from. For jeans, I love to buy vintage levis, as well as Aritzia Jeans. Aritzia jeans are the perfect pick for winter season, because they are warm, comfortable, and pretty affordable. Whether you’re looking for something baggy, fitted, low rise, or high rise, Aritzia is the place to go. For a bit more fun, I love Urban Outfitters Cheetah Jeans, and I Am Gia Misty Jean. If you want a more cozy pant to wear in the house with the fire on, or to walk a grab coffee, the best picks are Jaded London Red Three Velour Low-rise Bootcut Trousers, I Am Gia Erin Pant, Brandy Melville Priscilla Pant and the Ex-Boyfriend Leopard Pant are the best options for a more laid back comfortable look.
Building a great winter wardrobe really comes down to pieces that are not only stylish but also you feel comfortable in. Whether you are looking for a cozy outfit, or a more exciting one, you will find something in this article. So go ahead and add these to your Christmas wishlist. Happy Holidays.
