On October 23rd, Mayfield’s varsity tennis team honored seniors Sarah Leiva, Lulu Stolpe, Amy Tanaka, Maddy Tong, Eliana Andrea, and Abigail Oh. This season wouldn’t have been successful without the contribution and hard working seniors who bring their all on the tennis courts. These leaders have shown what it means to be committed, determined, and dedicated. Although the players fought a hard loss against Chadwick high school, the seniors demonstrated that the true essence of the team was far beyond wins and losses, but about standing together and always striving for greatness no matter what. Our seniors will be dearly missed next season, but have inspired underclassmen on the team to demonstrate the same qualities next year.
