September marks the beginning of the fall sports season for Mayfield Senior’s tennis team. After two weeks of summer practices, both JV and Varsity teams broke hearts at IMAC, winning with an impressive lead. Our established Varsity coach, Silvana Stans, has been joined by a new JV coach, Pete Taratikhumporn, who is prepared to serve up a great season. However, the extreme heat wave posed a threat to the tennis team’s games, causing a few to be rescheduled in order to avoid playing in the heat. Be sure to come out and support the tennis team at their next game.
