Bachelor Clayton Echard will attempt to find a relationship with one of the 31 women who are vying for his love.

Clayton Echard was first introduced to the Bachelor franchise on Michelle Young’s season of the Bachelorette but was sent home Week 6. Originally from Eureka, Minnesota. He played football for the University of Missouri and briefly played pro for the Seattle Seahawks in 2016. He told Good Morning America that his parents were his inspiration for lasting love as they have been married for thirty years. 

Clayton is not the only one who is new to the franchise. The Bachelor has a new host, Jesse Palmer. Palmer, a former Bachelor himself, said of his new position, “I am humbled by the opportunity to return to the show as host this season to offer the newest Bachelor advice gained from firsthand experience”. The two stood on a float in the Rose Parade together to promote the show’s twenty-sixth season of the Bachelor.

Clayton’s season is sure to be a dramatic one. The trailer depicted the Bachelor stating he was falling in love with multiple women, that there were lots of fights between the women, and even, self-eliminations. Many are looking forward to seeing who Echard will choose and what will lead him to that decision.
