Apple Releases iPhone 12
Apple recently released their newly-designed iPhone 12, that is compatible with 5G speed. 5G is the fifth-generation mobile network that allows users to connect virtually with everyone and everything. It is a wireless technology that has a higher performance than any other system. Released earlier this month, the iPhone 12 is priced at $799, with new, as well as old, features that users will be comfortable with. The iPhone supports Apple’s new MagSafe standard, which uses magnets inside the phones to align accessories, including the new wireless charging puck, correctly. The phone’s front is protected by a new Ceramic Shield cover that replaces the standard glass. According to Apple’s website, the new Ceramic surface is “infused with nano-ceramic crystals and offers 4x better drop performance.” Like many other older Apple phones, the back of the phone is made of glass with two halves of the devices sandwiching an aerospace-grade aluminum enclosure that comes in five colors: green, blue, red, white, and black.
Expect all four phones–this update offers an iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Max–feature Super Retina XDR OLED displays, an edge-to-edge design except the Face ID and small buttons on the edges. There is no difference between the standard iPhone 12 and the Pro models.
A new A14 chip, the first chip in the smart home industry built on a 5-nanometer process, is found internally in all iPhone 12 models. The chip includes a 16-core Neural Engine with a 80 percent increase in performance for machine learning. It also powers new computational photography features that include photos with more texture, improved Night Mode pictures, and better contrast in images.
A lot of new features doesn’t bring additional battery burn b–he iPhone 12 offers up to 17 hours of video, 11 hours of streaming, or 65 hours of music.Fast charging–a 50 percent charge in 30 minutes utilizing a 20W power adaptor. Along with the new phone release, Apple introduced MagSafe accessories, which is designed to work with a ring of magnets built into the phones’ back. Some accessories include MagSafe charger, MagSafe iPhone cases, and wallet accessories. MagSafe supports 15W wireless charging, an upgrade over the 7.5W charging available to the past chargers. iPhone 12 users can also use the traditional lightning port to charge their phone if wanted.
